I’ll be sure to update the blog with info for anyone who may be interested in getting an updated EPROM for their SPARCStation 2 once I figure out how to successfully program chips. :-)

Strangely enough, the install process for OpenBSD 4.7 ran smoothly.

I’m running a very old PROM (version 2.1). If you ever get around to writing new PROM chips for the old SPARCstation 2, let me know… from what you’ve described, it sounds like 2.9 clears up some of the lingering NetBSD installation issues.
